In results declared on 8 February 2025, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 48 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Legislative Assembly while the Aam Aadmi Party won 22. The result returned the BJP to government in Delhi after 27 years; Rekha Gupta was sworn in as Chief Minister on 20 February.
