Anushilan Samiti Formed
Anushilan Samiti emerged in Calcutta in the early 1900s as a network combining physical-culture organisations with revolutionary nationalism. Pramathanath Mitra became an important early leader, while Satish Chandra Basu was among the organisers associated with its formation.
