Execution of Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar were executed by hanging at Lahore Central Jail on 23 March 1931 after their convictions in the Lahore Conspiracy Case. Their execution made the three revolutionaries enduring symbols of anti-colonial resistance in India.
