India Against Corruption Movement
In 2011, anti-corruption protests associated with the India Against Corruption campaign drew large crowds around demands for a stronger national Lokpal law. Anna Hazare's fasts became the movement's most visible symbol, while activists including Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhushan participated in the campaign and in negotiations over proposed legislation.
