Arrest of Arvind Kejriwal
The Directorate of Enforcement arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on 21 March 2024 in a money-laundering investigation connected with the now-withdrawn Delhi excise policy. Kejriwal challenged the legality of his arrest in court. At the time, he was a serving Chief Minister.
