India–Oman CEPA Enters into Force

On 1 June 2026, the India–Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement entered into force after being signed in Muscat in December 2025. The agreement created a preferential framework covering goods, services, professional mobility, investment facilitation and regulatory cooperation, with tariff concessions across much of bilateral trade. Its entry into force was marked by the flagging off of the first Indian consignments claiming CEPA preferences.
